Background

Genie was born and raised in Noosa, completing her studies locally before moving to Brisbane to complete her Bachelor of Laws with the Queensland University of Technology. Halfway through her studies, Genie moved to Roma to commence her role with Emanate in 2021.

Throughout her employment, Genie has progressed from a paralegal to lawyer with Emanate, gaining a range of knowledge and experience along the way by dealing directly with landholders and key stakeholders, further developing her keen interest in the resource and energy sector.

Outside of the office, Genie’s interests involve surfing, netball and staying involved in the local community by engaging in various social and sporting events.
